CHEMICAL MEDIA FOR GASEOUS FILTRATION

Camfil Airepure’s air cleaning chemical media is designed to remove toxic, corrosive, odorous and hazardous gases, and can be used within various types of gaseous filtration systems.

Spherical, porous pellets remove gaseous pollutants from the air through a unique chemical process known as chemisorption. During chemisorption, the media converts harmful gases from the air into harmless materials that are trapped inside the pellet. This process is instantaneous and irreversible.

Quality, high media content provides increased contact efficiency and chemical adsorption to provide extended overall lifetimes and a low pressure drop.

Custom media blends can be manufactured by Camfil to target and eliminate specific toxic, corrosive, odorous and hazardous gases.

Activated Alumina Chemical Media

The CamPure media range is a high quality chemical adsorbent based on activated alumina, treated with a specific impregnation system to target oxidisable acidic gases that are responsible for corrosion of electronic control equipment in heavy process industries such as oil and gas, pulp and paper, mining and metal refining and waste water treatment .

All CamPure media has gone through performance test in accordance to the test method listed in the ISO 10121-1:2014 document. The test conditions depicted in the standards are closely reflective to actual operating conditions.

CAMPURE 4 MEDIA

The spherical particle geometry allows for low pressure drop characteristics and even airflows across media beds and filters.

CAMPURE 8 MEDIA

The spherical particle geometry allows for low pressure drop characteristics and even airflows across media beds and filters.

Target gases of CamPure 8 media include:

• SULFUR DIOXIDE
• FORMALDEHYDE
• ETHYLENE

CAMPURE 9 MEDIA

The spherical particle geometry allows for low pressure drop characteristics and even airflows across media beds and filters.

CAMPURE 10 MEDIA

The spherical particle geometry allows for low pressure drop characteristics and even airflows across media beds and filters. CamPure 10 has a higher impregnation content than CamPure 8 and will provide longer life time and lower life cycle cost (LCC) or total cost of ownership (TCO).

CAMPURE 15 MEDIA

Activated Carbon Media

Blended Chemical Media

CamPure 43 is a 50/50 volume blend of CamPure 4 and CEX003
CamPure 44 is a 50/50 volume blend of CamPure 4 and CEX004
CamPure 83 is a 50/50 volume blend of CamPure 8 and CEX003
CamPure 84 is a 50/50 volume blend of CamPure 8 and CEX004
CamPure 103 is a 50/50 volume blend of CamPure 10 and CEX003
CamPure 104 is a 50/50 volume blend of CamPure 10 and CEX004

Impregnated Activated Carbon Media

We offer a range of activated carbon media impregnated with activated alumina to target specific gaseous contaminants, including:

Cannabis Odour Media Blends

Chemical filters and media blends specifically designed for cannabis cultivation facilities and grow houses are also available, offering complete odour control / removal, improved storage and preservation, the prevention of mould and powdery mildew, increased yield and a longer shelf life of cut buds.

Custom Media Blends

Custom media blends can be manufactured by Camfil to target and eliminate specific toxic, corrosive, odorous and hazardous gases.
