AirePanel Minipleat HEPA filters have been designed to meet the needs of critical applications where HEPA filtration is required.
AirePanel Minipleat HEPA filters are rated at H14 to EN 1822:2009. Optional rating of U15 to EN 1822:2009 is also available.
AirePanel Minipleat HEPA filters have been manufactured from the highest quality of materials under strict quality control conditions, and are certified to ensure performance under the most critical of conditions for performance and leak-free operation.
Typical applications for AirePanel Minipleat HEPA filters include, medical facilities, universities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, research facilities, food and dairy processing facilities and in any application where ultra clean air is a requirement.
The AirePanel Minipleat HEPA filter casing can be manufactured from a range of materials, with extruded anodised aluminium being the standard choice. AirePanel Minipleats come standard in 50mm deep packs, these are offered up to a maximum of 300mm of which offers significant savings on energy with less pressure drops. These packs can also be offered into standard 149mm and 292mm aluminium double turned flange arrangement if required.
AirePanel Minipleat HEPA and ULPA filter media are manufactured from moisture resistant micro glass fibre media, which is highly resistant to moisture in high humidity environments. The HEPA media is then formed into closely-spaced pleats held apart by a continuous thermoplastic cord. Positive pleat separation maximises the use of the media area and minimises pressure drops. The media pack is then bonded into the frame using polyurethane. AirePanel CS Minipleat HEPA filters have been designed with a channel provided on either the downstream or upstream perimeter of the filter frame. This perimeter channel is then factory filled with a gel seal (fluid seal) sealant. Fluid seal applications help limit the possibility of air bypass sometimes associated with gasket seal applications.
Each AirePanel HEPA filter is individually tested and certified to meet the customer’s requirements for resistance and efficiency. Each filter is labelled noting tested efficiency, pressure drop, rated airflow and serial number. AirePanel HEPA filters have been designed to comply with the requirement of AS4260.1997. When used with correctly selected mounting frames, housings or terminal modules, AirePanel HEPA filters will easily pass AS1807.6 & AS1807.7 Final Filter Integrity test carried out by a NATA registered laboratory.
Airepure recommend replacing gel seal HEPA filters when contaminated or the loaded pressure is reached, but no longer than 5 years from manufacture date due to possible degradation of the gel. Refer to https://www.airepure.com.au/issues-affecting-gel-seal-hepa-filters/
