High Capacity MERV 8-9 Pleated Panel Filter

General

Airepure®Australia has selected Kimberly-Clark INTREPID® 355H Pleat Filtration Media of which is designed to provide sustained efficiency with a low pressure drop. All INTREPID Filtration Media is 100% synthetic, so it will not absorb moisture or support microbial growth. It has a lower initial pressure drop than cotton-polyester and self supporting pleat media which leads to energy savings during use.

AirePleat high capacity filters can easily upgrade existing flat panel or V-Form filters currently being used with little or in some circumstances less in static pressure. AirePleat high capacity filters are available in nominal 25mm, 50mm and 100mm depths. All AirePleat high capacity 25mm and 50mm deep filters are rated as a high MERV 8 per ASHRAE 52.2- 99, with the 100mm deep filters achieving MERV 9 to ASHRAE 52.2-99.

AirePleat high capacity filters are suitable for variable air volume systems. Operating face velocity ranges are from 0 to 2.54 m/sec face velocity and can be used in most heating, air conditioning, or ventilating systems.

Installation

AirePleat high capacity disposable pleated filters are suitable as a primary filter to meet AS 1668.2 and can be installed in universal holding frames, side access applications and similar existing hardware. They may be used as pre-filters to extend the life of AirePak, PurePak, PureCell and AireFlow-V filters in these framing systems. AirePleat high capacity “elements” and “rolls” are also offered. These are pleated sections of AirePleat media in selected widths with the metal backing for use in a re-useable metal frame (service pleat).
